A survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau shows that those who hold master’s degrees earn $400,000 more over the course of their lifetime than those with bachelor’s degrees.
Master’s degree holders earn an average salary of $53,000 per year, $10,000 more per year than bachelor’s degree holders and nearly $20,000 more per year than high school grads.
According to a study by the National Center for Education Statistics, 13% of all graduate students surveyed received some form of monetary assistance from their employer.
