Currently the largest industry in the U.S., the health care field accounts for 13.5 million jobs.
About 40% of all health care workers work in health care facilities; the rest find work in private practices, nursing homes, schools, nonprofit agencies, clinics, rehab centers, transport services, labs, and other research facilities.
