Designed with the working professional in mind, the online option for the MMI program parallels its campus-based counterpart in every way, providing the same curriculum designed and taught by Northwestern faculty. The MMI program is geared for completion within two to three years of part-time study.

Master of Science in Medical Informatics ONLINE

To prepare leaders in this exciting new field, Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies, in partnership with the Feinberg School of Medicine, offers the Master of Science in Medical Informatics (MMI) program in an online format.

This eleven course graduate program includes classes in clinical thinking, decision support systems in healthcare, healthcare enterprise operations, management of medical technologies, and legal, ethical and social issues related to healthcare. It also features a capstone course with opportunities for an applied research project and a leadership development experience.

The Medical Informatics online program offers the rigorous academic experience of the classroom program and uses the latest online collaboration tools to make it easy for students to work and learn with faculty, classmates, and leading researchers and practitioners in the medical informatics field.
