Loyola University New Orleans offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) online with a specialization in Health Care Systems Management (HCSM). The HCSM program focuses on knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a variety of nursing leadership positions in health care organizations.

The HCSM online program includes content in nursing administration, management, leadership, finance, quality improvement health promotion, disease prevention/management, integrated delivery systems, managed care strategies, and workforce management.

The HCSM online curriculum adheres to the standards identified by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and the Standards of Practice for Case Managers (1995) published by the Case Management Society of America.

The HCSM online program requires 36 credit hours of graduate coursework, 12 of which are devoted to core courses and 24 of which are devoted to HCSM major courses.
